There’s no shortage of weather resistant/waterproof outdoor speakers to choose from but Monitor Audio offers a twist on the theme with its CWT all-weather in-wall/ceiling speaker series.

Designed for easy installation and available in four sizes, the two-way speakers sport a “super discreet” trimless grille design with a mounting depth of less than 4 inches and feature a pivoting version of Monitor’s signature 1-inch gold-dome tweeter. All models are described as impervious to dust and resistant to humidity and splashing.

The CWT140 ($160 each) and CWT240 ($200 each) have a 4 inch woofers while the CWT160 ($200 each, now $123 at Crutchfield.com) and CWT180 ($270) have 6 and 8-inch woofers, respectively. Common features include Monitor’s Tri-Grip mounting system and paintable (round or square) grilles that attach to the mounting frame via magnets.
