Monitor Audio Adopts NAD’s BluOS Music Platform

U.K.-based Monitor Audio and sister brand Roksan have announced that they will integrate the BluOS multiroom hi-res music platform into future products.

The NAD-developed platform was chosen because it’s “purpose built for discerning audio enthusiasts and thereby fits with our own core values,” said Monitor Audio CEO Andrew Flatt. The platform supports high-resolution audio streams up to 24 bits/192 kHz and the FLAC, WAV, MQAformats.

BluOS is a proprietary, brand-agnostic platform that enables compatible products connected to the same Wi-Fi network to access the streaming services Tidal, Spotify, Qobuz, and Deezer, and share music libraries and playlists.
