NAD’s M10 Amplifier Masters Music Streaming
The M10 taps the company’s BluOS multiroom music management and control platform to stream from multiple services including Tidal and also features full MQA decoding. An ESS Sabre DAC handles up to 24-bit/384kHz PCM along with DSD. The M10’s Hypex nCore amplification stage puts out 2 x 100 watts RMS into 8 ohm, with 300 wpc at the ready for dynamic peaks. Dirac Live LE room correction is also onboard and can be upgraded to Dirac Live Full (the full-frequency version) for $100.
Connectivity options on the M10 include 2 sets of stereo analog, coaxial and optical digital, and HDMI-ARC inputs. There are also stereo preamp and dual subwoofer outputs and an IR trigger input for use with a third-party hardware remote control (NAD’s sophisticated BluOS Controller app would typically be used to operate the M10). Two-way Bluetooth AptX HD is supported, and a future firmware update will add AirPlay 2 streaming capability.
The M10 streaming amplifier will be available March 1st for $2,499.
