RSL has announced plans to introduce the Speedwoofer 10S, a more affordable version of its popular Speedwoofer 10.

“Years in the making,” the new subwoofer delivers substantial output down to 20Hz with CEA 2010 measurements that exceed a number of competing 12 inch models, according to the company. It will be part of a new line of speakers slated for introduction later this year.

The Speedwoofer 10S employs patented Compression Guide technology and mates a 10-inch high-excursion cast frame woofer with a digital amp rated to deliver 350 watts rms.

Pricing is set at $399 or $449 with an optional wireless transmitter. RSL offers a 30-day trial period that includes free shipping and return.
