Salamander Creates Credenza for Sony Short-Throw Projector
The furniture gurus at Connecticut-based Salamander Designs have come up with a stylish credenza custom made for Sony’s new VPL-VZ1000ES Ultra Short Throw 4K projector, designed to project a 100-inch image when positioned only 6 inches from the wall.
The Salamander Credenza (model X/SNY245, $3,999) is an all-in-one solution featuring a sturdy extruded-aluminum frame, wire management for concealing cables, and a built-in cooling fan. In addition to accommodating the projector, the cabinet has adjustable shelving for two components, a slide-out media drawer and tray, and space for a soundbar.
The credenza is available in three styles: The Miami, with gloss-white side panels and a black top; the Chicago, finished in grass-textured black oak, and the Oslo, featuring a black oak finish with smoked glass doors.
