Some Coffee to go with Your Flat Panel?
While nearly every major consumer electronics brand has a new LCD or Plasma to show off at CES, most models look similar to one another. That isn’t the case with VIZIO’s newest batch of LCD HDTVs. The VL and VT Series all feature a distinct JAVA color treatment with a sophisticated, coffee-colored frame. It’s a nice addition to an LCD that introduces several new features from VIZIO.
The 47-inch VT470M ($1,100) is the largest model in the new VT series, and it includes a 50,000:1 Mega Dynamic Contrast Ratio (DCR), which is VIZIO’s term for deeper and improved blacks. This particular 1080p LCD HDTV also has a 120 Hertz refresh rate, four HDMI inputs, and provides SRS TruSurround XT sound technology. Select models in the series also offer VIZIO’s Pause It feature, which lets you pause live TV programming directly from your set through its built-in memory and dynamic micro-processing technology.
