Sony announced it will open home theater retail spaces at approximately 350 Best Buy locations nationwide starting in mid May. The ‘Sony Experience at Best Buy’ shop-in-shops are designed to provide an enhanced shopping experience through interactive demonstration areas and a dedicated team of product experts.

Consumers will be encouraged to try out products and experience how Sony AV gear works together, according to the company. The stores will showcase a range of products with a focus on 4K Ultra HD TVs and media players, the first consumer 4K camcorder, and PlayStation4.

Using touchscreens, visitors will be able to control 4K content demonstrations and compare different TV features and models. BestBuy.com will also feature a Sony Experience section.
