Sony now selling active shutter 3D glasses
If you own one of Sony's 3D-capable HDTVs, you can enjoy 3D goodness for just $200. The company is now selling active-shutter 3D glasses on both SonyStyle and Amazon, along with the necessary infrared transmitter to use them. The glasses are available for $150 a pair, and the 3D Sync Transmitter is another $50.
The glasses and transmitter are compatible with Sony's Bravia HX800, HX909, and LX900 HDTVs. The HX800 and HX909 HDTVs need separate glasses, but the LX900s already come with two pairs of shutter glasses and a built-in IR transmitter.
