Sounding Off in Hope: A 121st Birthday Bash for Klipsch
It’s more than just a nostalgic nod to an audio legend—it’s a full-blown party for the ears.
Festivities kick off on Friday, March 7, with a birthday bash at 2 PM hosted at the Klipsch Museum of Audio History. Guided by resident curator and storyteller Jim Hunter, it's a backstage pass to some amazing artifacts.
Later, at 5 PM, the mood shifts from party mode to poignant remembrance with a wreath-laying ceremony at Mr. Klipsch’s gravesite in Rose Hill Cemetery. Afterwards, the evening continues with an Annual Membership Meeting and a listening session at the Paul W. Klipsch Auditorium.
Come Saturday morning, March 8, things get even more interesting. At 9 AM, attendees are invited to "Chief Bonehead Class" led by Klipsch’s Principal Engineer, Roy “Chief Bonehead” Delgado Jr. This session dives deep into the advantages of digital signal processing for fully horn-loaded speakers.
Tickets for this technical treat are $100 for museum members and $150 for non-members.
And as the day winds down at 5 PM, get ready for a Chief Bonehead Fajita Dinner paired with live tunes from Pepaw Collective, followed by the irreverently entertaining LB and The RiffRaff at the Klipsch Museum Visitor Center.
