PC-4000 (blue) Close-miked response in Extended mode, two ports open, normalized to level @ 80 Hz: lower –3 dB @ 17 Hz, –6 dB @ 15 Hz, upper –3 dB @ 190 Hz with Crossover set to Off.

Please note: Response is –5.05 dB @ 39 Hz, making the crossover and level settings required for proper integration tricky at best. There are internal EQ adjustments provided to flatten the response in your room, and they should be utilized.—MJP

Just got the PC-4000 to replace my PB12 plus that is 15 years old, I hate to say the PC-4000 is max 4000 watts, the PB12 plus is 15 years old and 2300 watts, the pb12 plus hits harder, has deeper bass and more responsive than the PC-4000. I was going to replace my pb12 plus with th PC-4000 but now I will not and have both hooked up even though the pb12 plus sounds better, the PC-4000 sounds like a 200 watt hollow sub, worst design in a sub I have ever heard now I got to go buy usbc to rca cables to run a test when I know the sub sucks, have it turned all the way up and it can’t hold a candle to the pb12, both hooked up and the pb12 out performs the 4000 with ease, watching a movie and sub you cant hear nothing even when watching twister, now bot subs hooked up my 15 year old pb12 plus sounds 100000 times better, the pc4000 is more like a Walmart 100 watt sub, $2000 paper weight, if they decide to replace it pack up the old one, wait 3-4 weeks for new one, never been so disappointed in audio equipment in my life tell I got the pc4000 100 watt sub
