China's TCL is out to make a name for itself. The company held its first CES press conference on the eve of the show and, as you can see from the photo, spared no expense on constructing an extravagant exhibit.

While the crowds at its booth weren’t close to the crushing throngs in the LG and Samsung displays, that doesn’t mean they didn’t offer interesting products, as shown in my earlier posts on the flagship X1 TV and a TV with a slick looking back panel. Yes, TCL's calling card appears to be the inclusion of Roku in all of its TVs, but there was more in their quiver than that.
