Vanco Previews Amplifiers, Pendant Speaker Enclosure
The Illinois-based distributor of electronic accessories is showing new single- and four-channel power amplifiers intended for 70- and 100-volt distributed-audio systems.
Described as an easy-to-install solution for a wide variety of AV installations, the PulseAudio PAV140 40-watt amplifier features a front-panel dial for adjusting volume, bass, treble, and microphone levels (selectable via a button). RCA analog and optical digital stereo inputs are provided along with a three-level microphone input and connections for infrared (IR) and RS-232 control.
The Beale Street Audio BAV4250 is a flexible four-channel amplifier rated to deliver 250 watts per channel into 4 or 8 ohms. At the heart of the amplifier is DSP processing and a matrix mode that allows any source to be routed to any output. The amp is rack-mountable and can be controlled from its front panel or via an IP/browser-based GUI for simplified setup and operation.
Vanco is also offering a sneak peek at the new Beale Street Audio line of pendant speaker enclosures, designed for open-ceiling spaces. Designed to hang like a pendant light, the enclosures are water-resistant and built to house Beale’s 4-, 6.5-, and 8-inch in-ceiling speakers. Two sizes are offered in black or white with a paintable grille.
The PAV140 is slated to ship in the July-September time frame, while the BAV4250 and pendant enclosures are slated for delivery in the October-December period. Pricing was not announced.
