Vizio Launches Budget TV Series
Vizio has introduced the D-Series of budget-oriented TVs at prices ranging from $150 for a 24-inch edge-lit LED/LCD model to $1,300 for a 70-inch smart TV with full-array LED backlighting.
Some models with screens between 24 and 55 inches are equipped with Wi-Fi and Vizio’s Internet Apps Plus smart TV platform. Pre-loaded apps on those models include Netflix, Vudu, iHeartRadio, Hulu, Spotify, YouTube, and Xumo, a new app that organizes and presents content from digital networks in the entertainment, lifestyle, news, sports, and business/tech categories.
Models with screens between 43 and 70 inches feature 802.11ac dual-band Wi-Fi and Vizio’s V6 six-core processor. 4K content from Netflix, Vudu, UltraFlix, and Toon Goggles is available on UHD models.
In all, the series includes five UHD models, all full-array LED smart TVs:

- D50u-D1 50 inch ($730)
- D55u-D1 55 inch ($880)
- D58u-D3 58 inch ($1,050)
- D65u-D2 65 inch ($1,200)
