Vizio Recognized for Customer Service Excellence

Vizio was recognized for customer service excellence at the 12th Annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service ceremony held in Las Vegas on February 23.

The company nabbed one of 10 coveted Grand Stevie Awards and placed fourth overall out of 180 companies. Vizio’s customer support team was also honored with 17 awards in the Gold (four), Silver (nine), and Bronze (four) categories.

In the Gold category, the company received awards for Customer Service Department of the Year – All Other Industries and Customer Service Complaints Team of the Year – All Other Industries.

Awards were presented to more than 600 nominated customer service and sales executives from around the world at the event. Vizio has received 81 Stevie Awards since 2012.

The Stevie Awards were created in 2002 to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide.

More than 2,500 nominations from organizations of all sizes and virtually every industry were evaluated in this year’s competition. Finalists were determined from the average scores of more than 150 professionals worldwide in seven specialized judging committees. Entries were considered in 89 categories for customer service and contact center achievements including: Contact Center of the Year, Award for Innovation in Customer Service, and Customer Service Department of the Year.
