The video streaming landscape just got a little more interesting for Dish Network subscribers with XStreamHD's announcement that it will carry Lionsgate content in HD.

The deal will offer access to more than 12,000 titles in 1080p with up to 7.1 channels of lossless audio. There will also be music in formats including lossless FLAC. Possible titles would include TV series like Mad Men and movies like Precious.

To get the goodies you'll need an HD Media Server. One of the ways to get it is the Fast Start package, which offers a server with 1TB storage, a media receiver, remote, plus HDMI and ethernet cables for $399. For a server with larger 2TB or 4TB hard drives, pay another hundred bucks for the Pro Start package (shown). The servers include three (!) ATSC tuners to pull in whatever on-the-air broadcasts are available in your area. The tuners can operate simultaneously, so with three broadcast tuners and one satellite tuner, you can watch up to four programs at once.
