HDMI 1.4 3D specs go public

We know HDMI 1.4 is the future. We think 3D is the future. And now, everybody can get a double-barreled blast of what the future may look like, since the 3D specifications of HDMI 1.4 have been officially released to the public.

It's extremely try and technical details that, frankly, most will have a hard time understanding. It's the nitty-gritty information that describes exactly how 3D technology can work over HDMI 1.4, and focuses on things like packet structure, sampling methods, and latency. If you know what a Quincunx matrix is or have memorized ISO23002-3 section 6.1.2.2, though, you might find it interesting. Regardless, it's yet another step in the ongoing march of 3D towards adoption.
