Screen Innovations, or SI as it is more commonly known today, made its mark with ambient light rejecting screens. But it has a few more tricks up its sleeve.

The new Series Intellimask screen's frame can physically expand or contract horizontally depending on the program material. Unlike a conventional masking screen, the effect is the same but there is no masking. Instead, the excess material at the left and right of the 2.35:1 screen rolls up into sides of the frame when, for example, the requirement changes from 2.35:1 to 16:9, unrolling again when the size needed is reversed. The blue lighting shown around the screen is included (but can be turned off!). Available in several screen materials early in 2016 at prices to be announced later.
