Every now and then we get word about an awesome deal that’s worth passing along. Like this one, heard through the grapevine…

A trustworthy source has informed us that Def Tech will offer deep discounts on its BP 8000 Series speakers, including the A60 Atmos Module, starting November 1. We’re told discounts between 30 percent and 40 percent will be offered at authorized retailers and on definitivetech.com through end of the year.

This means you could put together the Atmos-enabled BP-8060ST system we reviewed earlier this year and save a bundle. Assuming discounts of 30 or so percent, you’d save around $1,800, which lowers the system ticket to less than four grand. Not too shabby.
