Amazing Footage from Prototype Camera Drone

Action cam maker GoPro has posted tantalizing video recorded by a prototype camera drone the company plans to offer in 2016.

The “sneak peek” footage is clear and remarkably stable as it follows a quad rider riding through a field. The video also shows a graceful flyover through the woods, capturing serene Nature Channel-like footage.

The footage begins with the statement: “The following video was captured using a developmental prototype of GoPro’s quadcopter and stabilization system. This footage has not been stabilized in post-production.”

With commercial drone tech advancing so rapidly it's unnerving to think about the possibilities this technology can have in unscrupulous hands. My understanding is that the FAA is under directive to fast track regulations for unmanned aerial vehicles.
