Klipsch Adds $400 Soundbar to Reference Lineup
The system comprises a two-way soundbar with two horn-loaded 0.75-inch textile dome tweeters and a pair of 2.5-inch fiber-composite woofers and a wireless subwoofer that automatically pairs with the soundbar. The subwoofer has a downward firing 6.5-inch woofer mounted in a slot-ported MDF enclosure.
At 3.5 inches tall and 40 inches wide, the soundbar has removable feet and is designed to sit unobtrusively under the TV without obstructing the screen or infrared sensor; a keyhole mount on the back panel makes it easy to mount the bar on a wall.
Highlights include Bluetooth streaming capability, onboard Dolby Digital decoding, and three listening modes—virtual surround, night EQ, and voice enhancement—that can be accessed from dedicated buttons on the supplied remote control.
The finish is satin black on the soundbar and wood brushed black vinyl on the sub. For more information, visit klipsch.com.
