Oppo 4K Blu-ray Players Now Support Dolby Vision
Support for the Dolby Vision high dynamic range (HDR) format is now available for Oppo’s new UDP-205 and Top Pick-designated UDP-203 4K/Ultra HD Blu-ray players.
To add Dolby Vision, owners of these players must download a new firmware update by connecting the player to the internet and either answering a prompt on the TV screen or selecting the update from the player’s setup menu.
If the player is not connected to the internet, you can visit the support page on oppodigital.com to download the firmware update (released June 6, 2017) or request a firmware CD from the company.
The players also support the HDR10 high dynamic range format and wide color gamut.
For technical details on the players, visit oppodigital.com. For information on Dolby Vision, visit dolby.com.
