AudioControl Bows New Pre-Pro
The Maestro M5 is how AudioControl does Dolby Atmos and DTS:X in a high-end surround preamp-processor.
This 7.1.4-channel pre-pro (top, $5900) has the HDR support afforded by HDMI 2.0a (not 2.1) with HDCP 2.2 DRM to do the copyright handshake. What makes it special is its Dirac Live room correction. Of course you get both XLR and RCA line-outs.
For Atmos 5.1.4, pair the Maestro with a couple of the Pantages G3 five-channel power amps (bottom, $2500/each). For Atmos 5.1.2, one Savoy G3 seven-channel amp ($3000) will do. Both are rated at 200 watts per channel.
