Short throw projectors were a big story this year, and Hisense got into the act with its $10,000 Laser 4K.

It’s capable of full 4K QQQ—pixel shifted? DLP? LCD?) with wide color, HDR, and a claimed output of 3000 lumens. It worked as well as might be expected in an open space on the included 100” diagonal screen.

The stylish projector ships in late October and features built-in Harman Kardon speakers supplemented by a small, outboard, wireless subwoofer.
