Tivoli Audio Announces Portable Audio Line
The new Tivoli Go collection launches in June with the Andiamo portable Bluetooth speaker ($199), which will be joined by the Fonico ($129) Bluetooth-enabled wireless earbuds in September.
Shaped like a mini canister, the stylish Andiamo features an Italian leather carry strap and has a battery rated for up to 20 hours of play time. The speaker is made of aluminum and available finished in black or silver (shown).
A first for Tivoli, the Fonico earbuds are waterproof — they can be submerged in up to 3 feet of water — and deliver stereo sound wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.2 for up to nine hours per charge. The buds feature automatic stereo pairing and are compatible with Skype as well as Android and iOS devices. A portable charging case is included.
The Model CD is a disc-shaped CD player featuring a touchscreen LED control panel and Tivoli’s signature wood cabinet. The Wi-Fi-based device makes CD playback available wirelessly to other Art series speakers on the home network and has a stereo line out for connection to a receiver or stereo system. Pricing was not announced but the player will be offered in black (shown), white, or walnut when it becomes available in September.
Inspired by modern furniture design of the 1960s, the Wi-Fi-based Music System Home supports Bluetooth streaming and Amazon’s Alexa virtual assistant platform and is equipped with an FM tuner, CD player, Ethernet jack, and line inputs and outputs. A four-channel amplifier powers two 3.5-inch full-range drivers and a pair of 0.75-inch tweeters. A version without Wi-Fi and Alexa, called Music System Digital, will also be available when the system ships in September. Both models will be available with walnut (shown), white, or black wood panels. Pricing was not announced.
