New York Audio Show Opens Friday

The New York Audio Show will return to Manhattan on Friday, November 9 for its third year at the Park Lane Hotel on Central Park South, one of the city’s most coveted locations.

The 2018 event, which runs through Sunday, will play host to 81 brands across 40 exhibits. Although the show is focused on high-end audio — from loudspeakers and headphones to hi-res digital audio gear, tube amplifiers, and state-of-the-art turntables — more than a dozen mainstream brands will be demonstrating their latest products. Among them BDI, Bowers&Wilkins, Cambridge Audio, Chesky Records, Definitive Technology, Denon, Dynaudio, GoldenEar, HDtracks, LG, MartinLogan, Monitor Audio, Panasonic, Sony, and Yamaha.

Amid the sea of audio products, Scarsdale, NY-based Value Electronics will host demonstrations of the latest TV technology from LG and Sony along with many other products. Sony’s prestigious ES and Hi-Res Audio divisions will also be on hand.

In another show highlight, David Solomon, audio industry veteran and Chief Hi-Res Music Evangelist for Qobuz, will introduce showgoers to the French hi-res streaming service that’s coming to America in the near future.
