Sol Republic, the Los Angeles-based lifestyle-focused headphone specialist, has introduced two over-ear wireless headphones, including its first model with active noise cancellation (ANC).

The Soundtrack SOL-HP1400 ($170) and Soundtrack Pro ANC SOL-HP1410 ($200) are equipped with 1.6-inch drivers and have a rated battery life of 42 and 32 hours, respectively, with a 15-minute quick-charge feature that provides 4.5 or 3 hours of play time.

Both are foldable with stainless-steel hinges and feature memory-foam ear cushions, silicone headband padding, and a built-in microphone and buttons for controlling music and phone calls; an auxiliary cable for wired listening is also included with each model.

The SOL-HP1410’s ear cushions are wrapped in leather and its noise-cancellation system employs a four-microphone system said to intercept outside noise without compromising audio quality and a monitor mode that pauses music and ANC so you can have a conversation without removing the headphones.

The SOL-HP1400 is available in black while the SOL-HP1410 adds the choice of a gray or champagne finish.
