Cambridge Audio announced yesterday that it has added hi-res streaming and Roon Ready music management capability to its flagship Edge NQ and CXN (V2) network audio players.

Roon capability comes via a new software update that enables the streamers to automatically discover and connect to the Roon music playback and library management system with volume control through the Roon user interface.

The company also announced that the Edge NQ’s StreamMagic module has been upgraded to “play music from virtually any source.”
