1080p DLP Comes In Threes With Digital Projection
Digital Projection unveiled a broad line of DLP projectors at both 720p and 1080p resolutions, and in single- and three-chip configurations. Many of its projectors are available with the VIP 2000 outboard processor utilizing Silicon Optix’ vaunted Realta chip set with HQV (Hollywood Quality Video).
It probably doesn’t come as a big surprise that star of the demonstrations were the three-chip 1080p projectors. Watching a variety of HD movie trailers the colors were deep and saturated and the image had extraordinary seamlessness and dimensionality.
The three-chip 1080p projectors start at $42,995 with the Titan 1080p-250 and go up from there
