These little switch mode monoblock amps from Channel Islands Audio have caused quite a sensation online and in print reviews (Wes Philips of our sister publication Stereophile was very enthusiastic about CI's less powerful D-100, which uses similar technology). Being a home theater pub we don't pimp a lot of monoblocks around here, but the CI amps are so small and reasonably prices the idea of using five of them to power a home theater isn't so ludicrous.
