1 More Introduces “Triple Driver” In-Ear Monitors

1More, a Chinese headphone company founded in 2013, says its new flagship E1001 Triple Driver In-Ear Monitor outperforms most single- and dual-driver earphones.

The $100 earphone combines a dynamic driver (for lower midrange and bass) with a dual-balanced armature (for mids and highs) in each earpiece and is ergonomically designed with oblique angles to ensure comfort and a snug fit in the ear canal. The drivers are made of “aerospace-grade” metal and the cable is wrapped with Kevlar fiber for durability.

1More said it designs and manufacturers all of its components from the ground up, including the drivers themselves. In addition to rigorous lab testing, all headphones are tuned by Grammy winning mixing engineer Luca Bignardi. The company says it has sold more than 20 million headphones in China over the past three years and hopes to replicate that success in the U.S.
