But wait, what about 4K Ultra HD?
NBC will distribute 83 hours of 4K Ultra HD (UHD) coverage to cable, satellite, telco providers, and “other partners.” The coverage will be made available on a one-day delay and will include 4K UHD footage from the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, swimming, track and field, basketball, the men’s soccer final, and judo.
The UHD coverage of the Opening Ceremony, which will be produced by NBC Olympics, will include high dynamic range (HDR) video and Dolby Atmos surround sound.
One UHD event from the previous day’s competition will be provided daily from August 6, the day after the Opening Ceremony, through August 22, the day after the Games conclude.
NBC Olympics will distribute the 4K UHD coverage provided by Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) and Japan’s NHK to U.S. distribution partners, who will individually choose how they will make the content available to their customers.
If you’re a cord cutter, you’ll be able to stream NBC’s coverage of the Olympics on Bravo, NBC (where available), NBC Sports Network, and USA if you subscribe to Sling TV’s Sling Blue service, which costs $25 a month. New customers who sign up can watch seven days for free. If you’re looking for an angle, there might be one here…

At most cases, there are issues when accessing videos in some territories. Hence, it would be better to pay on channel networks or use VPN to shift to other locations. Or check out latest Rio Olympics updates here.
