Marantz Flagship AVR, Processor Due this Month

Marantz has announced plans to ship two new flagship products by the end of the month: the 9.2-channel SR7011 AV receiver and 11.2-channel AV7703 AV processor, each priced at $2,199.

Both support 4K and high dynamic range (HDR) passthrough and are equipped with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround sound. The models also can be upgraded for a fee to include Auro-3D processing and support Denon’s app-based Heos wireless streaming platform.

SR7011 highlights:
• Nine-channel amplifier (9 x 125 watts into 8 ohms, two channels driven)
• Dolby Atmos and DTS:X processing for up to 7.1.4 with an external 2ch amplifier
• 192kHz/32bit D/A converters for all channels
• Audyssey MultEQ XT32 auto calibration with LFC, SubEQ HT, Dynamic Volume and Dynamic EQ
• Dual-band (2.4GHz/5GHz) Wi-Fi
• Streaming via Bluetooth, AirPlay, Internet radio, and network audio
• DSD (2.8/5.6MHz), FLAC, ALAC, and WAV support
• Eight HDMI inputs (one front) with full HDCP 2.2 support, three HDMI outputs
• 4K/60 Hz pass-through, 4:4:4 color resolution, HDR and BT.2020
• ISF video calibration
• 11.2-channel pre-out with 11.2-channel processing
• RS232 control
• Marantz 2016 AVR Remote App

The AV7703 is essentially the SR7011 without the power amplifier. Highlights include 11.2-channel XLR and RCA pre-outs and a preamp power supply that uses audiophile-grade ELNA capacitors.

Amen, should be a bit of a break there NO?
But it's been that way with the prior lines of AVR & Receivers AFAIK.
