Artison Masterpiece LCR-DM On-Wall Speaker System HT Labs Measures
L/R Sensitivity:82 dB from 500 Hz to 2 kHz
Surround Sensitivity:87 dB from 500 Hz to 2 kHz
This graph shows the quasi-anechoic (employing close-miking of all woofers) frequency response of the LCR-DM L/R (purple trace), LRS surround (red trace), and RCC 600-FS subwoofer (blue trace). All passive loudspeakers were measured with grilles at a distance of 1 meter with a 2.83-volt input and scaled for display purposes. Please note: Due to the unusual configuration of the center-channel elements, our standardized tests would not have produced meaningful results and have therefore been omitted.
The LCR-DM’s listening-window response (a five-point average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal and vertical responses) measures +1.48/–3.43 decibels from 200 hertz to 10 kilohertz. The –3-dB point is at 89 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 75 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 4.87 ohms at 172 Hz and a phase angle of –37.32 degrees at 111 Hz.
The LRS’s three-face averaged response measures +1.83/–7.97 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. The –3-dB point is at 102 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 93 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 4.15 ohms at 326 Hz and a phase angle of –58.45 degrees at 59 Hz.
The RCC 600-FS’s close-miked response in Music mode, normalized to the level at 80 Hz, indicates that the lower –3-dB point is at 52 Hz and the –6-dB point is at 24 Hz. The upper –3-dB point is at 144 Hz with the Low Pass control set to maximum.—MJP
