I never heard of any of these companies.
AV Companies Launch Emerging Tech Alliance
The founding members are Cleerline Technology Group, Niveo Professional, TechLogix Networx, and Hexacon AV.
The press release announcing the alliance said it will spearhead the growth and optimization of end-to-end systems, from components to connectivity, through collaboration and convergence within the existing AV market and with non-traditional services and technologies.
“By offering an unparalleled ecosystem of options to meet every integration need, ETechA will foster expanded opportunities for every link in the AV value chain,” the press statement said. “This unique level of partnership will provide members cohesive and reliable solutions to serve a broad variety of clients in numerous industries.”
"The founding members of ETechA all recognized a need for collaborative input behind the systems into which their products were being installed, according to ETechA partner Gary Vlaeminck of Hexacon AV. “Many conversations are had each day about different brands within our industry and the innovative products they each provide; however, there is little communication between the respective manufacturers at the product design phase that ensures the complete and reliable compatibility of their products with those other manufacturers' products necessary for a complete system install. ETechA provides an amalgamation of common interests and technological considerations, such that manufacturers and installers gain peace of mind in their system components' ability to work together seamlessly and reliably."
ETechA's three other founding members are hardware providers representing key elements in the AV integration industry: fiber optic cables and connectivity (Cleerline Technology Group), AV networking equipment (Niveo Professional), and audio-visual signal distribution electronics (TechLogix Networx).
The press release went on to say: “In addition to providing a proven end-to-end solution set that adds value to the end customer, ETechA seeks to advance the AV industry as a whole by providing education and thought leadership, defining industry-wide standards and best practices, qualifying and establishing appropriate distribution partners globally, and creating cooperative marketing opportunities for its members. Uniting premier companies from across the AV industry, ETechA is poised to advance the entire marketplace through the power of collaboration, bringing true integration to life in systems and solutions.”
