BluOS Adds Streaming Options, Access to MQA Music
Radio Paradise is the first internet station to deliver MQA-encoded music, including 24-bit masters where available, and provides the option on all four of its channels (Main Mix, Rock, Mellow, and World/Etc).
Owners of BluOS-based products will be prompted to activate the v3.14.2 update, which in addition to Radio Paradise provides access to the free version of Spotify (BluOS currently supports Spotify Premium), SiriusXM, and SiriusXM Music for Business; both SiriusXM options provide access to hundreds of commercial-free channels for subscribers in the U.S. and Canada.
The new Spotify and SiriusXM options join more than 20 other streaming services — including Tidal, Qobuz, and Amazon Music — available through the BluOS platform. The update covers all BluOS-enabled devices from NAD, Bluesound, DALI Loudspeakers, Monitor Audio, and future products from Peachtree Audio, Roksan, and PSB.
In addition to the new streaming options, the BluOS 3.14 release brings Roon Ready status to NAD’s M33 streaming amplifier and T 778 AV receiver and includes updates for Tidal, Qobuz, Amazon Music, and Deezer. The release also introduces a “more intuitive play queue design that deepens the listening experience with enhanced visuals” as well as improvements in Roon functionality, library indexing, and Wi-Fi performance.
