The opening lines from the trailer for the upcoming Netflix documentary Keith Richards: Under the Influence offer a rare glimpse into the life of Rolling Stones rock legend Keith Richards who at 71 isn’t ready to put the guitar down. Not by a long shot.

Directed by Morgan Neville, the documentary covers Richards' formative years and follows him to Chicago, Nashville, and New York City where he recently finished recording his first solo album in 23 years, Crosseyed Heart.

Under the Influence will be released on Netflix on September 18, the same day Richard’s solo album goes on sale. Check out the trailer…
