LG screens become Vudu dolls
For those not familiar, Vudu is a streaming movie download service with several standalone products available for home theater integration, including the recently reviewed Vudu XL. Like most other video-on-demand services, you can choose from a wide collection of SD and HD films, and either rent or purchase them to stream them over the Internet directly to your screen.
Starting now, the LG 47LH50 and 50PS80 HDTVs will ship with Vudu support as part of their LG Netcast Entertainment Access suite. Users who already have LG 42LH50 and 60PS80 screens will be able to add Vudu service to their HDTVs starting next month.
