March is shaping up to be a good month for Ultra HD Blu-ray and Dolby Atmos with the release of seven new 4K titles, which brings the total to 13 with more on the way.

Meanwhile, Dolby reports that the number of Atmos-powered Blu-ray titles just hit 50, including 14 Warner Bros. Ultra HD movies now available for streaming.

New additions to the Ultra HD/Atmos family include Mad Max: Fury Road, which won Oscars for Best Sound Editing and Best Sound Mixing, and Oscar-nominated film for Best Music and Best Sound Editing, Sicario. The Peanuts Movie (UHD but not Dolby Atmos) is slated for release next week (March 8) and Concussion, Sony’s first non-catalog UHD title with a Dolby Atmos soundtrack, is due out on March 29.
