Only three of the seven recent disc announcements highlighted here are releases on 4K Blu-ray but at least two of them support high dynamic range (HDR). The remaining four are slated for release (or have been recently released) on standard Blu-ray, DVD, and/or digital.

May 21, How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (Universal Pictures Home Entertainment) – The final film in the animated trilogy featuring Lilo & Stich and How to Train Your Dragon). What began as an unlikely friendship between an adolescent Viking and a fearsome Night Fury dragon has become an epic trilogy spanning their lives. In this installment, the heroic pair finally fulfill their destinies; Hiccup (Jay Baruchel) as the village chief and ruler of Berk alongside Astrid (America Ferrera), and Toothless as the dragon leader of his own kind. June 18, Us (Universal Pictures Home Entertainment) – Set along the North California coastline, Adelaide Wilson (Nyong’o) reluctantly returns to her beachside childhood home with her family and finds that she is haunted by unresolved trauma from her past along with a string of eerie coincidences. As darkness falls after a tense day at the beach, the Wilsons discover four figures standing in their driveway. They soon realize this is only the beginning of their troubles as they find that the four figures are terrifying and uncanny opponents: doppelgängers of themselves.

The Prodigy (20th Century Fox) – Taylor Schilling stars as Sarah, a mother whose young son Miles' disturbing behavior signals that an evil, possibly supernatural force has overtaken him. Fearing for her family's safety, Sarah must choose between her maternal instinct to love and protect Miles and a desperate need to investigate what — or who — is causing his dark turn. She is forced to look for answers in the past, taking the audience on a wild ride that blurs the line between perception and reality.

June 4, I Am Durán (Universal Pictures Home Entertainment) – Iconic boxing champion Roberto Durán tells his life story, while highlighting his five-decade career as one of the most skilled fighters of all time. A one man wrecking-ball, Durán transcended his sport and helped inspire the people of Panama to rise up against its CIA-funded dictator (Manuel Noriega) to achieve independence. From his days shining shoes on the street, to packing arenas across the world, this is the story of modern Panama and its most celebrated child. Featuring Sugar Ray Leonard, Mike Tyson, Sylvester Stallone, and Robert De Niro.
Slated for release only as a digital download and on-demand video. A disc release is not planned so no technical details were available.

June 14, The Outsider (Cinedigm) – Country music singer Trace Adkins stars in this gritty tale of revenge in a small Western boomtown. In search of the American dream, a railroad worker (Jon Foo) finds himself on the wrong side of a lawless frontier. As the Marshall (Adkins) attempts to control his corrupt town, tragedy strikes sending the railroad worker on a path of retaliation. Also starring Sean Patrick Flanery and Danny Trejo. An unfortunate aside: Outside was halfway through filming in November 2018 at the iconic Paramount Ranch in Agoura Hills, CA when production was halted due to the Malibu Woolsey Fires that destroyed the historic movie set and devastated nearly 100,000 acres along with hundreds of homes.
Digital and on-demand releases will coincide with the film’s theatrical release. A disc release is not planned so no technical details were available.
