No Mo MOJO
We've been hearing the rumors. Word on the street was that MOJO was leaving Cox. And, it turns out, the rumors were right. MOJO HD will officially cease scheduled programming on October 29, permanently pulling the plug on Cox customers. Documents state that the parent company iN DEMAND, "has announced that it will be canceling its MOJO HD regularly scheduled programming by the end of the year, but it will continue to provide OnDEMAND programs." MOJO, in case you didn't know, is an all-HD channel which included the popular Three Sheets, I Bet You, and other original programming.
The interesting question is why this is happening. Simply lack of viewership for these particular programs? A sign that the HD market isn't especially robust? Or just some internal corporate decision? Time will tell. -Ken C. Pohlmann
