If you've been holding off on purchasing a Vudu Box, now's the time. Originally retailing for $400, the new price is an affordable $150. Not bad for the basic 250GB system.

"We are reaping the rewards of success in the retail channel over the holidays, lower component prices and higher movie revenues," explained Edward Lichty, the company's executive vice president of strategy. Movie purchase prices range from $2 to $20, or you can rent from between $1 to $4.

Vudu offers 1080p/24 media, and an ever-growing library to choose from. Vudu has over 13,000 titles, and about 1,300 can be viewed in HD. Perhaps the coolest feature of Vudu - you can browse Vudu titles from your iPhone and then the content automatically downloads to your Vudu Box at home, so it's waiting for you when you get there.
