The Sherwood’s video circuits perform no video processing and no cross-conversion from component in to HDMI out. They are strictly passthrough. Therefore, the only pertinent tests here are whether or not the unit passes both above white and below black (video clipping) and its luma and chroma resolutions. As performed here, 1080p in to 1080p out, the Sherwood’s video input is passed to its output with no visible loss.—TJN
