Slacking Off on Bravia
The list of reasons to pick up the BRAVIA Internet Video Link for your compatible Sony BRAVIA TV just grew. And grew in a big way.
Slacker Personal Radio is now available streaming over the Internet Video Link service. This gets a big "Woo-hoo" from us. Slacker is the revolutionary service with millions of CD-quality songs available, and the ability to create your own custom station to play only the music you love. What's not to love about Slacker?
Howcast is also joining the lineup - offering almost 100 how-to videos in a vast variety of subject areas.
Here's what Sony had to say about this:
"Internet content is expanding faster than ever and we are bringing it straight to BRAVIA televisions," said Randy Waynick, senior vice president of Sony Electronics' Home Products Division. "Slacker and Howcast are great examples of new types of entertainment that are bridging the gap from an Internet experience to entertainment shared in the living room."
There is a growing collection of options on the BRAVIA Internet Video Link. Amazon Video on Demand, YouTube, CBS, Yahoo!, Sports Illustrated and more. However, Slacker is something that you'll find you just want to keep running whenever you're at home. Who knows what great music you'll find. —Leslie Shapiro
