Sony prices and presells its 3D Bravia HDTVs
As you can tell below, Sony is going whole-hog into this 3D thing. The home electronics side of the company has just announced pricing and is accepting presales for no less than 7 different 3D-compatible HDTVs.
The Bravia LED-backlit HDTVs cover the XBR-LX900, XBR-HX909, and KDL-HX800 series, ranging from $2,100 for the 40-inch KDL-40HX800 to $5,000 for the 60-inch XBR-60LX900. The HDTVs join a slew of other 3D-compatible home theater devices either currently available or on the way, including 6 3D-capable Blu-ray Disc players and 6 A/V receivers with 3D HDMI passthrough. All but the BDP-S770 Blu-ray player and BDV-HZ970W Blu-ray home-theater-in-a-box are available now; the other two products ship in July.
