Stereo Exchange, one of New York City’s oldest audio/video and home theater retailers, is hosting a vinyl listening event/record release party and live in-store performance tomorrow, Friday, January 29th, at 7 p.m. The store is located downtown at 627 Broadway in Greenwich Village between Bleecker and E. Houston.

The Butterfly Fight Club, the new LP from guitarist Cosmos Sunshine, will be played on a statement analog system comprising gear from Totem, Rogers, Clearaudio, Transparent, and Ortofon. The album will be presented track by track with discussion of the songwriting and production. Drinks and refreshments will be served.

After the listening session, the artist/songwriter will perform. Sunshine has released four full-length albums and four EPs and has played many of New York’s best live-music venues, including Brooklyn Bowl, Irving Plaza, CBGB, Wetlands Preserve, and The Nightingale Bar. He has toured nationally, opening for Gov’t Mule, Blues Traveler, The Spin Doctors, Johnny Winter, Lenny Kravitz, and others.
