The D2 did have an unfortunate tendency to respond unpredictably to Pioneer remotes. When I tried to make a picture adjustment on a Pioneer plasma, the player stopped. Keep this in mind if you have Pioneer products in your system.

Compared to last year's subtle Bravo D1, the D2 is unquestionably more aesthetically pleasing. Subtle text and a reflective silver finish are used in place of the coreball D1's black case and rows of logos. Although it's still not as aesthetically pleasing as the Samsung DVD-HD931, at least it's no longer a hassle.
