Viva Las Vegas: 174 Elvis Artifacts Heading for Online Auction
Into rock and roll memorabilia? Can’t get enough of Elvis? Well, now’s your chance to own a little piece of The King. Online bidding for 174 lots of authenticated Elvis artifacts starts Thursday, August 13th at 7pm CDT at The Auction at Graceland.
Organizers say the event, the third of its kind, is the most comprehensive auction to be held on the grounds of Graceland. All auction items are from third-party collectors, not the Graceland Archives.
Auction items include:
- 1973 “Starburst” Jumpsuit worn during performances at the Las Vegas Hilton (estimated value $100,000-150,000)
- "Viva Las Vegas" jacket worn in the dance scene with Ann-Margret (estimated value $30,000-50,000)
- Million Dollar Quartet guitar signed by Elvis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis (estimated value $20,000-30,000)
- Signed shirt provided as the grand prize in a 1973 Boy Scout raffle (estimated value $8,000-12,000)
