Hulu Plus Launches
Hulu is embedded in many websites in addition to its own. But it is also making some moves into devices large and small, reaching the iPad and iPhone via 3G and wi-fi as well as the iPod touch via wi-fi.
In addition, Hulu is coming to TVs from Vizio (through the Vizio Internet Apps platform) and Samsung (through Samsung Apps).
Also in development are versions for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 plus Blu-ray players from Sony and Vizio. Hulu is jointly owned by NBC Universal, News Corp., and Disney.
See Hulu blog and Hulu Plus site. To request an invitation to subscribe to Hulu Plus, see the invite page. Also see Engadget's coverage, including a hands on test and an interview with Hulu's CEO about whether streaming can replace cable.
