SIRIUS The biggest problem with listening to satellite radio at home can be receiving the signal. If you don't have a clear line of sight to the satellite, even a tree branch waving in front of the antenna can cause a dropout. Sirius has a solution - the Echo wireless signal-distribution system. Wed the transmitter to an outdoor antenna with a clear line of sight, then locate receptors wherever you have satellite tuners in the house. The signal is said to have a range of up to 100 feet and easily passes through walls. The Echo system is expected to be out by Christmas at a price to be determined. |
